 Generalife, Alhambra, Granada, Espana. The Court of the Main Canal of Generalife is a part of the huge Alhambra complex in Granada, Spain. Built between the 12th and 14th centuries as a palace for Muslim royalty, the Generalife was for recreational purposes. This painting represents the palace on a freezing cold day with mists blanketing the hilltop fortress. Watercolour painting by Dai Wynn on 300 gsm Arches paper. 21cm X 30cm (8″ X 12″) approximately.
