Koonung Rockface

Koonung Creek, in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, runs alongside the Eastern Freeway. Earthworks have exposed multi-hued rockfaces and strong diagonals of the rock strata. To better define the sharp-edged layers of stone, I have used a small palette knife.
