Matterhorn and Zermatt at Dusk
Oil painting by Dai Wynn of the Matterhorn above Zermatt early evening. Dai and his wife were dining on a cheese fondue al fresco. This was the backdrop. Zermatt is an all-electric alpine village in Switzerland. On the following morning we took the rack railway to Gornergrat. At 3,135m we looked up at the Matterhorn and looked down on several glaciers. We sipped our coffees on a sunny terrace before this stunning scenery.
