Portland Sunset Number 2 Oil Painting
My son loved the previous smaller “Portland Sunset” and suggested I do a larger version. So this one is 40 cm high by 50 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep approximately. The extra area allowed me to add more of the lighter colours while retaining the amazing cloud formations on the darkening skies above.
Portland is a wheat and timber port in south-western Victoria where huge piles of woodchips are exported.
