Good spring rains have filled several billabongs in the Yarra Flats at Eaglemont. This is one of the smaller lakes close to Banksia Street and walking distance from my studio. The tortured trees in the foreground captured my attention. Oil painting on smooth weave linen on board. 30.5cm high by 40.6cm wide by 0.3cm deep approximately.
