Rob Roy Glacier NZ

Rob Roy Glacier NZ
According to Wikipedia, Rob Roy Glacier is a small hanging glacier in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. Located about 9 kilometres south of Mount Aspiring – Tititea – hikers can view it up close from the Rob Roy Track. Dai Wynn painted this view from the Wanaka to Raspberry Flat road which takes one to the Matukituki River and the start of the track.

There’s that long white cloud hanging below the glacier. Aotearoa is the Maori name for New Zealand with the literal meaning of “the land of the long white cloud”.
