Oil painting by Dai Wynn based on a scene not far from the village of Lütschental. This tiny Swiss village sits on the rushing Schwartze (Black) river Lütschine. Train travellers returning from the Jungfraujoch via Grindelwald enjoy this spectacular view down the valley on their way to Interlaken. Incidentally, Jungfraujoch, “The Top of Europe”, is 3,571 metres (11,782 feet) above sea level. Painted on linen board. 25.4 cm high by 30.5 cm wide by 0.3 cm deep approximately.
