Château Montreuil-Bellay
In 2013 Dai Wynn painted this view of the interior of the Château Montreuil-Bellay in central France. Located 16 kilometres south of Saumur in the Loire Valley, the château overlooks the River Thouet. The stone house depicted here dates to the 15th century, while fortifications date to the 11th century.
Painted in ink and watercolours on 300 gsm Arches paper. 21.0cm high by 29.7cm wide by 0.1cm deep approximately. A4 standard size.
